Achievements

 

 

           Our men and women players participated in Inter District Badminton Championship’07 held at Malda and the results were satisfactory. Women’s team made it possible to become the Zonal Champion. Our men’s team was the Semi-finalists.

 

           In another tournament at Alipurduar in January’08 Rinki Jadav beacame the singles Champion and Sunanda Paul Runner up in women’s group. 

 

          Our men and women players as members to the District tea participated in Inter District Badminton championship’09 (A-zone) held at Malda and the result were satisfactory. Out men’s team made it possible to become Zonal Champion. Women team also became Champion.

 

           In indo-Bhutan Badminton Championship at Alipurduar Atasi Roy became Champion in under 14 group and Akash Paswan and Medha Joshi reached the Semi-Final and Babu Roy reached the Quarter Final. In girls’ open evend Sunanda Paul became Runner-up.

 

         Abhishek Basu of our institution reached the Quarter Final in National Badminton Championship for deaf and dumb at Indore.

  

           In State Inter School Badminton Meet’09 in under 14 group, members of out junior section Babu Roy became champion and Akash Paswan became runner up and Sourav Joshi was placed 3^rd and they became team champion of the State and qualified to represent the State in All India State School Badminton Meet held at Pune and reached Pre-quarter Final in team event.
